My husband has been disappointed time and time again by almost all the most important people in his life and in very big ways. Just one of those disappointments may scar you or I for life and mold us into a completely different people.
Yet he continues to love and trust unconditionally and lives to help everyone. He gives everyone the benefit of the doubt and never uses his sad experiences as excuses for his mistakes.
He has taught me about loving unconditionally and the beauty of a second chance. I promise I will never do anything to end up on that list of his disappointments.
